Do it right or don't do it

Our philosophy is best summed up by a saying authored by John Ruskin,1819-1900:

Heating

Buying a new furnace or heat pump can be a big decision, but it's a decision we make easier with tailored advice. Haisma carries a superior line of high-efficiency Amana home heating systems, Bryant roof top units, and a range of heating solutions including heat pumps, wall gravity and direct vent furnaces, in-floor radiant heat, mobile units and spot heaters.

Two key considerations when purchasing a home heating system are:
1. Select the A.F.U.E. or Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency rating most suited to your budget.
2. Select the right size of furnace for your home.
In the first instance, we will help you sort through a 'payback analysis' to determine how much money you can save in utility bills with each type of furnace or boiler and how long it will take to 'payoff' the investment.

In the second instance, we make sure you don't buy too much or too little heating power for your home.

A popular seller at Haisma is Amana's Air Command 90II 2-stage furnace, which offers tough construction, quiet operation and as much as 34.9% energy savings compared to an older, 60% efficient furnace. Cooling

We carry an array of cooling solutions, with Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratings ranging from 10 to 16. Our air conditioners, such as Amana's Ultron SEER 12, use an environmentally-friendly refrigerant known as R-410A. Efficient condensing coil design and cushioned compressors guarantee performance and quiet comfort. Central air conditioning units are available in 'split systems', which 'add-on' to your forced air furnace, or in package cooling units (such as heat pumps, which both cool and heat your home) or as split system air handlers for homes where duct work isn't available or preferable. All of our cooling products are constructed with rugged components to resist corrosion and are backed by the best warranties in the industry.

Air Cleaners

At Haisma, we know that electronic air cleaners and humidifiers not only add extra comfort to your home environment, but that they extend the life of your heating and cooling system as well. Electronic Air Cleaners such as Honeywell or Aprilaire reduce indoor air pollution drastically while keeping your heat exchanger, cooling coils and fan blades clean. This extends the life of your equipment and maintains efficiency.

According to the EPA, indoor air pollution can be 100 times as high as outdoors. The American College of Allergists says that 50% of illnesses are caused or aggravated by polluted indoor air. We have a solution that's worth the investment.

Our electronic air cleaners capture more than 90% of particles such as pollen, ragweed, fungi; more than 70% bacteria and cat antigen, and more than 60 % of dust mite antigen, with some models achieving minimums of 80% removal in the lowest categories.

Fireplaces
